Transport Connectivity at Narra Residences
Hillview MRT Station (Downtown Line, DT3) is approximately 4 minutes by bicycle from Narra Residences. Travelling toward town, the line runs Hillview, Hume, Beauty World, King Albert Park, Sixth Avenue, Tan Kah Kee, then Botanic Gardens, and continues through Newton and Bugis into the city. Travelling the other way it reaches Cashew and then Bukit Panjang, where it meets the Bukit Panjang LRT and the Bukit Panjang Integrated Transport Hub. Hume Station opened on 28 February 2025 as an infill stop between Hillview and Beauty World, so journeys along this stretch now pass through one more station than older timetables show.
The Cross Island Line interchange at King Albert Park is three stops from Hillview. Once operational it will link the Downtown Line to a route running across the island toward Ang Mo Kio, Hougang and Serangoon in one direction and Clementi and the Jurong Lake District in the other, without a change at a city centre interchange.
For motorists, the Bukit Timah Expressway runs alongside the Dairy Farm area, giving a northward route toward Woodlands and a connection to the Pan-Island Expressway. The Central Business District is approximately 20 minutes by car, the Jurong Lake District 15 minutes and the Jurong Innovation District 16 minutes. The 24km Rail Corridor, which runs from Kranji in the north to Tanjong Pagar in the south as a continuous car-free path, is 5 minutes by bicycle or 6 minutes by car, and passes the heritage Bukit Timah Railway Station and the restored Upper Bukit Timah Truss Bridge.

Narra Residences sits beside more than 2,000 hectares of nature reserve and parkland carrying around 20km of nature trails, a connected belt linking Dairy Farm Nature Park, Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, the Central Catchment Nature Reserve, Chestnut Nature Park, Zhenghua Nature Park and Bukit Batok Nature Park. The Dairy Farm Park Connector, which feeds into that network, is 1 minute’s walk from the development entrance.
Dairy Farm Nature Park, 3 minutes by cycle, is the closest and the most varied, with family-friendly trails, mountain biking routes and two quarries. The Singapore Quarry is a rock climbing site, and the Dairy Farm Quarry holds decades-old rock formations. Chestnut Nature Park, 7 minutes by cycle, is a dedicated mountain biking hub with separate beginner, intermediate and advanced trails. Zhenghua Nature Park, 10 minutes by cycle, is quieter and walking-focused, connecting into the Bukit Timah corridor. Dairy Farm Mall is 2 minutes’ walk and is the immediate neighbourhood anchor, with a supermarket, food and beverage outlets and daily essentials. Four ground-floor shops at Narra Residences itself front Dairy Farm Walk, in the block at 64 Dairy Farm Walk. The Rail Mall, 5 minutes by cycle, is a low-rise retail and dining strip along the Upper Bukit Timah Road corridor. HillV2, 6 minutes by cycle, is a lifestyle mall at Hillview MRT with two levels of food and specialty retail.
Two MRT stops toward Bukit Panjang bring Bukit Panjang Plaza, Hillion Mall and Junction 10, covering a full-size supermarket, cinema, mid-range retail and a wide food court and restaurant range. Two stops the other way is Beauty World, for the Bukit Timah Wet Market and Food Centre and the hawker and eatery belt along Cheong Chin Nam Road. One Holland Village and the Orchard Shopping Belt are both around 15 minutes by car.
Schools near Narra Residences
The primary schools closest to Narra Residences are CHIJ Our Lady Queen of Peace, Bukit Panjang Primary School and Zhenghua Primary School. Primary school registration under Phases 2A and 2B depends on a 1km home-to-school distance measured gate to gate, not in a straight line, and the boundary can fall inside a single development. International and private schools in the immediate area include the German European School Singapore (GESS) and The Perse School (Singapore), both within the Dairy Farm and Hillview stretch.
